Winners of the 20 Ulimate Songwriters will be notified no later than January 1, 2008.
Certain songwriters will also be chosen to perform at the local pubs on the last night of the concert.

Friday, August 1st
Check in date if you have purchased a ticket/room package.
7:30pm to 10pm: Come check out the Ozark Mountain Hoe-Down beginning at 7:30pm. All workshop attendees get in free!
10pm to ??: Check out the local pubs and live music in downtown Eureka Springs! Rowdy Beaver Restaurant and Tavern will also have live music on this night!

Saturday, August 2nd
9am: Welcome, Orientation, and Introductions
10am to Noon: "Ready for Row" part 1 by Barbara Cloyd at the Hoe-Down. Reserved Seating will be in effect.
Noon to 2pm: Break
2pm to 5pm: "Ready for Row" part 2 by Barbara Cloyd at the Hoe-Down. Reserved Seating will be in effect.
6pm to 7pm: Jam session and karaoke on the Hoe-Down deck!
7:30pm to 10pm: Come check out the Ozark Mountain Hoe-Down beginning at 7:30pm. All workshop attendees get in free!
10pm to ??: Karaoke / Bonfire at the Travelers Inn! ALL workshop attendees are invited!

Sunday, August 3rd
For 20 Chosen Songwriters:
9am to Noon: "What's In a Hit Song" by Barbara Cloyd in the cabin. One-on-one instruction on fine tuning your songwriting.
Noon to 2pm: Break
2pm to 5pm: More one-on-one instruction with Barbara in the cabin. Learning the tips and tricks that make a songwriter successful.
For ALL Participants and Observers:
10am to Noon: Seminar: Getting Your Songs on the Web! Everything from having a great website to getting Google to send you traffic. Includes info on saving money on the web, tricks and scams to avoid, choosing the right domain name, marketing tips, great time saving tools, and cool stuff to add to your website once you have it up and running. Learn how to take control of your website! You can even buy your domains here and get started immediately before you ever leave the worskhop!
Noon to 2pm: Break
2pm to 3pm: Seminar: "How to set up an incredible sounding home recording studio!" We'll show you exactly what you need to set up a pro sounding audio studio without costing you a fortune! Learn how to set up one for less than $500!
3pm to 4pm:
Seminar: Joining a songwriters' organization. Choosing between ASCAP, BMI, or SESAC. Learn all about the differences and similarities in the three, and sign up for one right here! They're all free to join, and it's a great way to get yourself right in the middle of the songwriting business, as well as protect your rights as a songwriter.
6pm to 7pm: Jam session and karaoke on the Hoe-Down deck!

Monday, August 4th

9am to Noon: "Song Feedback - Round One" by Barbara Cloyd and two of the top publishers in Nashville. Each writer will play one song and hear constructive feedback from publishers that are very successful in the music business.
Noon to 2pm: Break
2pm to 5pm: "Song Feedback - Round Two " by Barbara Cloyd and two of the top publishers in Nashville. Each writer will play one song and hear constructive feedback from publishers that are very successful in the music business.

9am to Noon: ALL participants are encouraged to listen in on the Song Feedback to learn more about what publishers are looking for in a song. You will gain an incredible insight from this experience! No reserved seating from two rows back! If you'd rather not attend, this is your free time to mix, mingle, and write with other workshop participants.

Tuesday, August 5th
This day is for everyone!
10am to 4pm: Lake Party! Come enjoy the best of the Ozarks on Lake Leatherwood! Our friends Buzz and Charlotte have invited us all to their lakehouse for a day of fun and fellowship. Located only 15 miles from the workshop location. You can swim, ski, ride in a boat, or just hang out on the banks! See pictures here!
If you aren't a water bug, this is your free time to explore everything Eureka Springs has to offer. You can schedule a ghost tour, visit the "glass chapel", or just go shopping downtown!
5pm to 6pm: Closing bits of info by Barbara Cloyd at the Hoe-Down. Question/Answer session, information about the night time activities, information on upcoming workshops, etc.
7pm to 10pm: MEGA CONCERT! See Matt Ramsey, Jason Matthews, Dave Berg, Annie Tate, and Sam Tate all perform live at the Hoe-Down! Listen to their hit songs...and then ask them questions! All participants are invited to attend. Reserved seating will be in effect.
