 Steve Bloch will be attending the workshop (he could be sneaking around anytime!) and will be meeting in person with the 20 Ultimate Writers chosen to pitch their songs. Steve is the owner/publisher for Southern Cow Music, and has formed a new publishing company, Writer Zone Music, with songwriter partner Rand Bishop. Writer Zone has published cuts for Tracy Byrd, Steve Holy, and Billy Currington. More credits include Trent Sumnar is a staff writer for Writer Zone, and general manager for Tom Schulyer! Impressed? Two Top Nashville Publishers
Two of Nashville's hottest publishers will be attending this event!
Three Concerts by #1 Songwriters including Jason Matthews, Dave Berg, and Sam & Annie Tate! Five very successful songwriters will perform a concert on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday. Each concert will be followed by a question and answer session where YOU can visit with them!
20 Ultimate Songwriters Chosen to Meet with Publishers!
Out of all participants who submit a song, 20 will be chosen to have one-on-one instruction by Barbara Cloyd, and will get to play their material on Friday for two of the top publishers in Nashville! All other participants may sit in on these sessions and listen to the publishers' comments.
Jam Sessions EVERY Night!
We're not leavin' til you do! There will be a sign up sheet each day for anyone wanting to perform a couple of songs that night after the concert.
Some Songwriters chosen to perform live in the local pubs on Saturday night!
Wear your t-shirt (free when you sign up before May 1, 2008) and get in certain pubs FREE!
Thach Photography will be attending all four days to make professional photos of the entire event.
Jeff Thach is the official photographer for the Ozark Mountain Hoe-Down. Jeff will be there to take candid shots all 4 days. You can also request special photos during jam sessions and more. Photos will be available immediately in most sizes and can also be put on a t-shirt!
